The John Flynn School Of Guitar

The John Flynn School of Guitar was founded in 1986
and since then many thousands of students have attended
private lessons in Acoustic, Electric and Bass Guitar.
The school offers expert tuition to people of all ages
in a diverse range of musical styles.



The emphasis is on enjoyment, but achieving a high standard
of musical ability is actively encouraged throughout the course.

Different students will have different aims in mind as they enrol.
Some may simply wish to back their singing with basic guitar chords,
while others may have more difficult challenges in mind,
such as Lead Guitar improvisation or playing the Bass Guitar.
Others may wish to prepare themselves for the performance
section of the Junior or Leaving Certificate.

These areas and many more are all catered for.

The aim is for students to look forward to their music class,
to practice enthusiastically at home without pressure
because they themselves want to succeed,
and in the vast majority of cases this is happening.
